WHAT IS A PORTRAIT PARTY?
Portrait parties are a fun opportunity to have beautiful portraits of your children, other family members, friends or co-workers! There is NO SESSION FEE and guests will be offered highly discounted portrait packages available only the night of the party. The event takes place at your home, or another location of your choice, where everyone is comfortable and natural. As the hostess you will receive a complimentary portrait package and earn a discount on portraits of your own, based on your guests' order totals.
You and each guest family will be scheduled for a 15 minute photography session. In that time period, I will capture anywhere from 15-50 images of your guests. During each session, portraits of groups, individuals or a combination of both can be taken. If you are interested in hosting a portrait party please contact me to receive your documents to begin.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Have at least 8-12 guests at your party.
2. Fill in simple schedule of guests for portrait times.
3. Party time! I take your guests' portraits.
4. I edit photos and post online galleries.
5. Guests place their orders online and receive them in 2 weeks.
6. You receive your hostess package for having at least 5 guests attend plus receive bonus print credits based on party sales.

HOSTESS INFORMATION
I ask that you provide a suitable space for creating professional photographs (for example, a park, your yard or garden, or a well-lit spare bedroom, dining room or office). You will be required to send out invitations and have a minimum of 5 guests participate in the event. Each guest is required to provide a $25 non-refundable deposit to reserve their spot. This money will then be credited to them upon their photo purchase. I would recommend that you provide a little light refreshments for your guests. You will schedule your guests’ photography sessions 15 minutes apart (hostess form will be provided). Try to eliminate gaps in the session schedule to maximize your potential for free photographs. Your guests are not required to stay for the duration of the party. However, they may want to stay in order to view their proofs.
I will arrive about an hour before the event to set up the session area and equipment. It is best for the session area to be located away from the rest of the party (this is beneficial for events with children as it will keep them from being distracted during their sessions).
The guests will be able to view their proofs at the party and place an order immediately. The photos will then be edited, orders will be placed and your guests will received their photos within 2-3 weeks. If guests are not able to stay to view their photos, all photos will be placed in an online album and all photos ordered the night of the party and for one week afterward will count toward the hostess rewards.
